I cant remember the last time I bought a pair of Bertie shoes… In fact, I cant actually remember the last time I actually went into a Bertie store.. boy was that about to change. I was very excited to get an invite to the Bertie S/S 2011 Blogger event. So without further ado here are some images for you all to drool over.

Prespa was definitely a popular choice amongst the bloggers, I absolutely love them however I have an exact the same pair from Steve Madden. You can see how they looked on, modeled above by one of the lovely bloggers

We were asked to fill out a form on which one of the questions was ‘ What word would you use to sum up the collection’ my word was ‘Chique’.
The collection is extremely wearable and stylish, paired with this seasons sharp tailoring, shabby chique retro sports style and crinkled maxi skirts I can just imagine the fabulousity! The shoes have a real comfort factor which is always important for busy city ladies, there are not many retailers that sell shoes that are sexy and comfy.
The event itself was amazing, we were greeted at the door and welcomed in, drinks were being served and there was also food and a DJ. Also present for our amusement was the ‘Fun Photobooth’ fully equipped with lots of fun and silly things to make a memory of the event.
I will definitely be visiting Bertie on a more regular basis, I feel the brand has really grown from the last time I saw its collections, it really is appealing to a wider audience on a more ‘CHIQUE’ level.
