The Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection officially launched a few weeks back. I’m a huge fan of Real Techniques brushes, they’re are soft and non-shedding and the quality is beyond brilliant. I’m always stuck when it comes to make up brushes and Real Techniques who are part of a very select few brands I own have always got a place in my beauty drawer.
Whilst the regular Real Technique brushes are a complete steal in price and quality, the ‘Bold Metal’ brushes have a slightly higher price point, with prices starting from £20 per larger brush and £10 for smaller detail brushes. The brushes are weighty, for easier handling and more precise application and control and are said to be that slight bit higher in price due to the enhanced materials used.
I was lucky enough to be given the 3 above brushes – 100 Arched Powder Brush, 202 Angled Liner and 301 Flat Contour. All of which I absolutely love. The contour brush is my absolutely favourite, it gives me great cheek contour lines and blends really well.
The 100 Arched Powder brush is another fave, it is super soft and application is so easy. The brush has a very unusual domed shape which I find makes easier for powder and even bronzer application. However, I prefer it for applying an all over face powder. The Angled Liner brush is also great for applying gel and potted liquid liners, the precision is great for both top and bottom lash lines.
So in all.. I am totally loving the collection… they are all fantastic brushes! Have you tried the collection as yet.. if so what do you think?
