I can’t say I’m all that familiar with the term ‘Dry body Brushing’, in fact, I thought I was meant to use this in the shower, almost like it was a fancy spin off of the famous ‘Loofah’. How wrong was I? Yes, I’m admitting to a complete fail!!!
When I received the Omorovicza Body brush and after reading the fabulous little zip bag it comes in it all came a little clearer for me, so without boring you all to death here’s the facts and benefits of dry body brushing:

I gave the whole process a go today, the body brush is made from the finest hog bristles, the texture is just about perfect, not too stubbly to cause redness but not to soft that it feels like its not doing anything. There I stood in my bathroom before my shower stroking my bare skin, I even giggled to my self a few times as I found the whole experience a little odd. It is advised to use the brush in long sweeping movements towards the heart.
Overall my first experience with dry body brushing was rather pleasant, my skin was left feeling super soft and the bristles being at the exact right texture also helped, if they were a little more rough, I know I’d be feeling like I had exfoliated with sand paper! The benefits of body brushing seem really amazing so I have decided to give it a go for a few weeks to see if I find any major changes in my overall health and skin. I will be reporting back every so often to let you all know how I’m getting on.

After a kind invite from the lovely ladies at Liz Earle I hopped along to the Flagship store in Chelsea for a Wreath making evening in aid of their new addition to the ever so popular energising range. We were greeted with Mulled wine (elder flower for the non drinkers like myself) and minced pies with a display of beautiful wreath making goodies!

I have just gotten over a terrible bout of Flu and the most awful chest infection one could ask for!! Here are some of my all time Savior products that got me through the torment!!
Les Fluers De Bach Anti-Stress Treating Fragrance Organic – 50ml (£19.50)- This amazing blend of Lavender, sage, bergamont and Eucalyptus essential oils really do put the mind at ease! Even though I was overly bunged up, I would spray this every night all over my bed, pillow, curtains and anything else I could think of at the time!
