YSL have bought out their very own take on Lip stains. In fact, they have hit us with a tripple wammy, a Lipstick, Stain and Gloss in one.

Lets start with the bottle.. a sleek black body that shows off a small amount of how I would put it ‘Lipstick cleavage’ to tempt us, topped with the YSL signature gold lid. The application brush is a soft heart shaped sponge that paints the cupids bow PERFECTLY.

The formulation is of a watery consistency and true to its satin reputation however lighter colours need layering on and lasting power isn’t as great as I thought it would be, I needed a top up more than I thought I would.

Apart from the regular top ups, I really do like what YSL have done with these stains, you really are getting the best of all worlds.

Heeellloooo 20′s revival… meet Scarlet, she’s foxy, sexy and sleek. Yes thats right, GHD have bought out the fabulous ‘Scarlet collection’. Red and Black satin team up with smoking hot Red iron plates, these babies are amazing for creating the perfect waves and curls.

The set includes – Styling Iron with Red ceramic plates, heat resistant roller bag, protective plate guard and 2x GHD styling clips.

I love the protective plate guard, its a great tool to have when your in a rush and you don’t want your styler ruining the inside of your pretty little case (I have OCD). Also, if you look closely at the red plates theres a glitter like pattern which I think really does make these quite special.

I did notice a wattage difference between these and my normal GHD’s, the ‘Scarlet styler’ being a lower watt. I have extremely thick, wavy, bushy hair so a higher wattage does help to cut the styling time. However I did find that the ‘Scarlet styler’ is great for creating curls and waves once I have managed to tame my hair.

In a nutshell GHD has once again managed to make an exquisite styler which really does impact the collections in many ways. ‘Scarlet’ screams luxury and originality something every woman yearns for.

As a creative myself, I have to say I love the term ‘Behind the scenes’ anyone who has worked with me will know how much I love ‘behind the scenes footage’ and ‘behind the scene photo’s’. I find that capturing something beautiful and creative is great however the process and work thats goes into this is even greater.

The theme of Loreal Telescopic False Lash Effect Mascara is ‘Off The Scale’ so everything on set is exactly that.. to the doors that Cheryl walks through to the chair’s she sits on. The Mascara itself promises to frame your eyes and have your lashes ‘off the scale’ with length and fullness with NO need for false lashes. ( I will be reviewing this later down). I love the in depth nature and composition of the footage.

Trilogy Helping Hand Wash RRP £13.50

My all time favourite high street Bronzer has to be Prestige Cosmetics ‘Sunkissed’. I love it, it has a fabulous colour and is a great summer time shade. Only downer for me is the gold star in the middle, I only wish it went all the way through but it doesn’t.

Swatches above are of the gold star and bronze powder, while the gold powder lasts its fab to use on brow bones and to highlight cheeks Priced at around £7 the last time I bought it.

Whats your favourite Bronzer and why?

Geometrically shaped with a magnetic lid ‘Look Beauty’s’ ‘Loud Lips’ in ‘Rock Candy’ is a shockingly bright blue pink that really pops. On first glance the shade does look quite scary however, once applied is a lot more toned down and can be worn more pigmented or dabbed with some lip balm for a lighter shade, its quite a creamy lipstick so be sure not to layer it too much otherwise it will bleed.

Lasting power is quite impressive, I wore this for 4 hours before needing a top up. The formulation is super soft and glides on with ease without feeling too weighty. In all, a thumbs up from me .

I’m absolutely loving Topshop’s S/S 2012 Nail collections, there is a variety of colours and Topshop haven’t just stuck to the norm of pastels and lights.

Which is your favourite colour and what do you thinking of the pretty nifty nail art?

I was recently invited to attend the Diet Coke Get Glam Collection launch (read the post HERE ) and these babies were in my gift bag. I have used the famous ‘Bene Tint’ quite a few times, its always on my re purchase list, I love the flushed rosey cheeks and plumped lips look it gives. The other two tints as you can see from the swatch above are pretty fabulous too. ‘Cha Cha Tint’ (middle swatch) and ‘Posie Tint’ (left swatch). I have not tried the Posie Tint as yet but the ‘Cha Cha Tint’ is amazing. I used it on my lips and cheeks and was amazed at the staying power as Posie Tint & Cha Cha Tint are a little thicker in texture and not as stainy looking as Bene Tint so I assumed the staying power would be a little less, I was soo wrong. It lasted all day and gave me trouble when I was doing my nightly cleansing routine.

Whats your favourite Benefit Tint?

‘Look Beauty’ have been wowing everyone with their very reasonably priced makeup range. Above is the Triple Hit Eyeshadow, as you can see the pigment is very strong. The shades are gorgeous especially the goldy nude shade (left swatch).

I have some other Look Beauty bits that I can’t wait to test out so watch this space.
