The summery Jardin collection from Next’s tailoring stable is a neat summary of the colour palette of spring/summer 2012 – and the cuts and shapes give you a great idea of how these lovely, rich pastels can be incorporated into workwear. Mid-length coral shorts with a loose, almost waterfall blazer, coupled with a bright, crisp white t shirt and either brown leather brogues or chunky sandals for a more casual office.

I was at an event a few weeks back and was given a pack of these yummy ‘Metcalfe’s Skinny Popcorn’ to much on, I opted for the ‘Sweet n’ Salt’ flavour and they were yummy! No different from normal popcorn but with less calories, 121 to be exact.

A few weeks back I went along to the launch of the new ‘Aroma Purete’ range at the ‘Soho’ Hotel. The Lauch was a very chilled out one with lots of different small sessions throughout the day. Decleor’s resident beauty expert and QVC insider Fiona Brackenbury was also there to talk everyone through the new range and its benefits.

As Fiona can’t be here… let me talk you through the range and how I’ve found using the products. :p

Aromo Purete 2 in 1 Purifying and Oxygenating Mask 50ml £22.00 

A purifying and oxygenating mask with contains exfoliating Bamboo Tears that deeply cleanse without dehydrating the skin, Egyptian Loofah Fibres that help to eliminate dead skin cells and Spheres of White jojoba that help to soften and restore the skin.

Aromo Purete Imperfections Roll On 10ml £15.00

A product I was VERY excited to see added to the Decleor range, Imperfections Roll on is a portable treatment that targets blemishes and soothes the skin. Its a gel formulation which delivers a concentrated dose of essentials oils.

Aromessence Ylang Ylang Serum 15ml £44.00

Known as a ‘Super Serum’ made from mixing essential oils and plant oils to create a dry touch velvet texture the ‘Ylang Ylang serum’ penetrates deep into the epidermis reducing excess sebum production. I have been using this for just over a week now and I can really see the difference. My skin tends to have its bad days especially around lady time however recently its been misbehaving a lot more than I would like, almost everyday I would wake up with a VERY oily nose and T-zone which just looked and felt awful. Since using the ‘Aroma Purete’ range I have noticed a huge difference, my pores seem a lot smaller and and my nose and T-zone seems to be producing much less oil. I have also noticed that I dont have as many blackheads on my nose (disgusting I know, sorry). The bottle is only 15ml so you may be surprised to hear that this tiny little bottle should be lasting you up to 5 months, you only need a very little, I find myself tipping the bottle upside down with my finger tightly pressed on the top 4 times and dotting around my face.

Aroma Purete Shine Control Oxygenating Fluid 50ml £24.00

Tailored for Oily / Combination skin the ‘Shine Control Oxygenating Fluid’ helps skin to breathe which in turn improves cellular activity. This product works really well with the ‘Ylang Ylang Serum’ and has a great mattifying effect which provides complete hydration. My skin feels like its able to breathe no matter how many products im using.

Aroma Night Ylang Ylang  Purifying Night Balm 15 ml £32.50 30ml £55.00

An indulgent melting night balm which is 100% natural, a perfect treatment for Oily / Combination skin that helps to purify and rebalance the skin. The Ylang Ylang balm has the same blend of essentials oils as the serum which helps to heal and rejuvenate skin whilst you sleep. On waking the skin looks clean and radiant, I have been using this in conjunction with the two day products above, you’d think that slavering an oily balm on to combination skin would be asking for trouble but this has done the trick for my unruly skin and I am slowly starting to see results.

‘Vernis In Love’ are the new nail polishes bought to us by Lancome. The nail pot is petite with a timeless modern design which features a see through bottom, long square top and the famous Lancome flower logo stamped in the top right corner of the glass bottle.

For such a tiny small bottle I was absolutely shocked at the brush, its a a very thin brush that fans to the shape of your entire nail for precise application it really is nothing short of amazing! I found the brush contoured my nail perfectly and there was minimal side mess to tidy up.

Formulation of the polish is great, two thin coats does the trick and the drying time is amazingly quick, only downer for me was the finish, I would have liked it to be a little more glossier however a top coat can easily fix that problem.
